Yes, we are now open 7 days a week. And yes, I will be working every Monday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. That may seem like a short shift, but so much can be accomplished in a few short hours, especially when you have the magic elixir of Wine at your disposal!! Every Monday I will feature three wines from a specific wine region in the world. The region is dependent on what I am studying in order to pass the Second Level Exam (Certification) and the Third Level Exam (Advanced) for the Court of Master Sommeliers. For the Wine Geeks I will have plenty of information on the wines and the region from soil types, to clonal selection and minimum alcohols; for the wine novice who just wants a good glass of wine, the room is big enough to step away and not here my jibber jabber!!! The tasting is $12 a guest not including tax and if you would like to join us for dinner, the fee will be waived! I will also have the option to purchase bottles/cases as well additional glasses/bottles if you join us for dinner.

My Certification if rapidly approaching, February 24th in Chicago Illinois. I’m crossing my fingers and with hope Monday, February 25th tasting should be a Celebratory Tasting. Come on out on Mondays and truly help me pass my exams! The more I speak about the regions and the wines of the regions the more I will remember. I need your help and Mondays’ need a reason to be Happy!
